This project at the Historic “Old Rothern Bridge” in Torrington was undertaken for Marine Civil Solutions. The Bridge is a listed grade 2 Monument, the earliest surviving fabric of the bridge is probably early 15th century. Major repointing works were carried out to the cut waters and many of the parapet walls needed rebuilding. The scaffold was designed to deal with the risk of rising waters and access had to be maintained over the bridge in case of an emergency.
